Some Facts and Feelings Part 5

When someone comes up missing, there is no chance to say goodbye. One minute they are there and everything is fine. The next minute they are gone and you had no idea that when they walked away, it would be the last time you will ever lay eyes on the person. You don't get to choose your last words, or memorize what they are wearing, You don't really look at the person (I mean REALLY look at them), because you just take for granted that you will see them later. In my case, I expected to see her within the hour. Her last words to me were that she would be right back soon. She was going to the lawyers office, then stop at a store real quick and pick up a box of crackers for the chili that she had already started to prepare. Her mother was dying of cancer and was in her last days. Siblings from as far as Germany were in Zanesville to say their goodbyes to their mother. Barbara went to the hospital to visit her mother every single day, knowing it might be her last time seeing her mother alive. Her mother died just four days after Barbara disappeared. Family tried to keep her mother away from the news and newspapers. But she still found out her daughter was missing and died without knowing what happened. Barbara hadn't missed a day of worked in over 5 years. But yet, the day after she disappeared she didn't go to work. As her coworkers arrived at work that morning, Barbara's car was already parked across the street. But she wasn't there. Everything was out of the ordinary. Her mothers funeral came and went without word from Barbara and her kids were left to get their own dinner and eventually, report her missing to police. So many unanswered questions. I can only say that foul play is highly suspected. Someday, when we solve this mystery, I will be able to tell the whole story. Right now, I just want people to do the right thing and tell us what they know. You can call anonymous. We just need answers.
